What's new?

We've recently updated our onboarding flow to include a quick info tour. After getting feedback from some early users about getting more context and tools inside Viewport, we wanted a light-touch way to show a few highlights in the app.

We've done away with our Github-style preview chart, and instead, updated it to reflect more how people really use Viewport. Instead of showing daily upload count, seeing week-over-week uploads is more important, we feel. You can always enlarge this to see the full year in the familiar dot grid style

We've made it waaay easier to move content around projects. You can now drag and drop images across stacks to reorganize AND drag and drop entire stacks left and right to get your project storytelling just right. It's pretty sweet.

We've nearly doubled our project load times in our new update. Some older projects may still load from the original speeds, but any new projects should see the updated speeds. We still have more optimization to do here to speed things up even more. More to come.

We launched a fun and free tool that allows you to make a downloadable GIF of your recent work. Simply add some images, select the layout, and boom, you've got a sweet, looping GIF to tease a new project or share online. No more manually doing this in Photoshop or After Effects — now, you can do it in a few clicks. You're welcome :)

GIF Recap is available for free to try and also available in-app for all our early users! Supporting up to 30 images and hi-rez download for Pro users.

We shipped an update to our 'pin to sidebar' action that allows you to favorite projects and groups for easy access that live in your sidebar. Try it out from your dashboard—it's located in the bottom left of the screen.

Excited to ship groups on Viewport! Now available for Pro members, you can create groups for yourself, to organize projects in collections, or create groups for your team to share relevant projects with the right people.

Sign up with a few clicks with our newly integrated Google sign in.

Viewport Pro has now is now available to early supporters. This unlocks access to special, pro-only tools and add-ons. I'm excited about this update so we can build a sustainable business that allows for future growth and development. Early supporters lock in early bird rates for life.

Now, on larger displays, we added a wider focused stack view to bring some polish to the breakpoints.
