Building a better space for creatives to share work online
TL;DR: I'm building Viewport to be the best space online for creatives to securely share in-progress projects and get better feedback on their work. #like4like and spammy bots be gone!
Hey there, I'm Mason, the founder of Viewport. As a designer, I've used every tool and platform there is for creatives. Still, I kept finding myself frustrated when I wanted to share in-progress projects quickly and get feedback from people I trust. I needed an organized and evolving space where others could follow along on my projects as I built them, getting feedback along the way.
Although there are plenty of online collaboration boards, these lack structure and make it difficult for others to follow along and watch projects progress. On the other side, you can share work publicly on social networks but you never get quality feedback from bots and hashtags. I found myself constantly going back and forth on multiple platforms just to share updates. I needed a secure and streamlined solution where I could update projects and get organized feedback in the same space.

Refining how Viewport feels as a brand
After tinkering with possible solutions to this problem, I dove right into building an app I desperately needed. Now, over a year and a half later, seven name changes, thousands of hours of designing, developing, and problem solving, we're finally ready to start sharing what we've been building. Viewport is an experiment in bootstrapping an idea from scratch and believing in my gut. We're currently onboarding creatives in small groups to get direct feedback and build the best product possible. Hope to see you there :)
